Omurice

This one is pretty self explanatory. Fried rice covered with an omelette. Made in Japan. Great dish to use up random things lying around in your fridge like cooked rice. Some versions are covered with kewpie mayo and tonkatsu sauce. Here i've used crispy seaweed,crispy shallots and gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes).  Its insanely simple and something a little different for breakfast or brunch.

Notes...

For the vegetables use up what you got in the fridge. Ideal veges would be onion, carrot, peas, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, spring onion etc etc.

For the toppings. In the picture I used dried sesame seaweed, crispy shallots and gochugaru. You could use sauces like kewpie mayo, tonkatsu sauce, ketchup, bbq etc etc. Use your imagination.
