If you have left over crème pat store in fridge with cling wrap on top of crème pat so it is touching the whole top surface. This will prevent a thick skin. Will keep for 2 days.
Making caramel is fun but can be dangerous! Make sure you have all the ingredients weighed out before you start. Once again don't put your finger in when making as its very very hot and will hurt like hell.
