Barbequed flank steak with chimmichurri
Flank steak is a cut of beef that deserves to be up there with the best of cuts. Cooked correctly it will melt in your mouth. Reasonably cheap also. Find this cut at your local butchers or market. This is the perfect steak for the barbie and you will impress the whole party! With chimichurri as its accompaniment you cant go wrong!!!
Marinating the flank will help tenderise the steak or the cut can become chewy.
Ideally cook no more than medium rare as any further could cause the steak to become tough
Chimmichurri also goes well with most red meats and seafood
